The MTS 300 is an upright shearing machine driven by a single phase or three phase A.C. Motor.

Shearing with this machine will improve the appearance and definition of plain and patterned carpets and rugs, bringing out the colours with enhanced brilliance. Old carpets and rugs can be given a new lease of life using Münsinger shearing machines. Seems and joints of carpets already installed can be sheared so that they are no longer visible. Pilling that sometimes occurs with newly laid carpets and rugs can be quickly and effectively removed with this type of hand held motor driven shearer.

The shearing principle used in the MTS 300 is the same as all Münsinger shearing machines that use a flat stationary blade acting on a rotary spiral blade.

The TS 120 W is well suited to continuous use and is more durable and less noisy than the comparable TS 120 U that is driven with a commutator motor.

In order to remove the cut fibre and raise the pile for cutting a good quality dust extractor is required. The AS200 / AGN /NT55 /NT35 are all suitable.
